邢力云,1991年出生於台北,畢業於國立臺灣藝術大學雕塑學系,主修金屬專題創作。2015年於舊金山藝術大學進修碩士學位主修珠寶金屬藝術,接觸金屬工藝領域後作品更跳脫了純雕塑的界線,以結合工藝性及雕塑性為目標發展出獨樹的創作形式。
作品主軸以體現女性視角下不同時空背景之女性相關議題。沈痛、無奈、戲謔等多種情緒投射,以第一人稱闡述著現代社會對於女性的既定思維。作品以銅為主要材質,「Beauty Device」、「妳物」、「.nc 」等系列以金屬機械加工及鍛敲技法細膩表現剛柔並濟的女性特質。 Li-Yun Hsing was born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1991. Hsing graduated from the Department of Sculpture, National Taiwan University of Arts and majored in metal art creations. She then pursued her MFA in Jewelry & Metal Arts at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. After encountering the field of metal crafts, her works transcended the boundary of pure sculptures and has been pursuing the goal of creating a unique form of creation combining craftsmanship with sculptures.
The main theme of Hsing’s works focused on relevant women’s issues under different time and spatial backgrounds, including various emotional projections such as pain, helplessness, and espieglerie. She has elaborated the stereotypes on women in modern society through first-person perspectives. Her works were mainly made out of Brass or Copper. The series of “Beauty Device”, “Her Series”, “.nc” and others all present androgynous feminine features through metal working and forging & hammering techniques. |
